Riding is one of the most dangerous sports in the world but so many people risked their lives to compete and do what they love. Equestrians are inspirational people and no one really understands us except for other equestrians. By the way, to the people that think that we force horses to do these things, horses and their riders work as a team, we communicate and we understand if a horse doesn't want to do something, and we don't make them . Horses are my life, inspiration and joy. This song explains everything perfectly. Oh you play football? That's cute! R.I.P. to all of those brave souls who chose to be an equestrian and died doing it!

I'm seeing a lot of comments saying horses are forced. If horses are forced, why do we drop the reins and let the horses move? Why do we have trouble making the horse listen? Why do we ride with friends? Everyone that says these things about forcing a horse... I would like to see you try it. Every time we get on a horse or pony we are prepared for the emberesment of riding into other riders or being slammed against a wall. So before you say the animals are forced think to your self... Is it true
@diane1894449 жыл бұрын
CanterCrazy All us riders know horses are not forced if they don't want to do they won't. I had a horse that would not jump at all so he was a good trail horse. No force is needed agree and this is a wonderful video.

Horses love their work and their riders! When I first met my mare she hadn't been ridden for more than a yr so she was a bit hesitant to leave the paddock where the other horses were but then this afternoon after I had done some ground work with her (and a little bareback ride in a halter over small jumps) she didn't want to go back to her paddock she kept stopping and looking back at our riding paddock with the jumps and cones etc in it cause i only did a little ride she wanted to keep going b

I love riding my horses and I do dressage but to the people turning down football, please understand that all sports are difficult in their own ways. I dont really understand football either but its not a nice thing to do to say they are lower than us. I bet that football players could come and say we are lower than them but every sport is difficult in its own way, other people dont understand that about us and we need to understand that about them. BTW great video! It made me have chills!

As for the vid: Well done! As for me (of course I have to give my opinion, too! ^^): I don't like seeing horses having to jump higher than themselves.But in my nine years of riding different horses I learned a few things: There are those who don't really want to jump and there are those who see a fence or something and just run and jump over it, wether it's 0,50m or 1,50m doesn't matter. One thing I know for sure: You can't force a horse. (Unless you use violence.)

Hello, I'm a gymnast. You may think that I am about to tell you about how much harder gymnastics is than horse back riding..... But I'm not going to say that..... Both of my parents grew up around horses, my dad even trained horses for awhile and that is why he has neck issues. One time a horse landed on top of him. Since they both were around horses their whole life, of course I have been around horses my whole life. I started riding at a very young age, on a mini horse. After she died, I got an actual good sized horse. I was about 7 when that happened. Riding was very harsh for me, it caused me to get sore, cry, and since I was so small I was scared all the time that I would fall, especially when my horse wasn't completely broke. When I was 8 I started tumbling, and I wanted nothing to do with horses, because I finally did something I loved, and I obviously didn't see how good I was at horse back riding for my age. The only times I used my horse after that was to go trail riding. When I was 12, my parents finally let me go into actual Artistic gymnastics. It wasn't until I was 13 that I realized how good I used to be when I was 7. I am still 13 and I kinda regret not being more dedicated to horse back riding, even though I am still in love with gymnastics. I have very hard conditioning, but honestly our conditioning is just as hard as riding a horse. Those who have never rode. Just don't understand.
