As a vet tech and equine specialist I can Say it’s so very important to have SOME sign of neuro before assuming or treating. So many horse owners are assuming EPM on every horse they own no matter the problem. This is great!

thank you. several horses in my area in Northern Baja have come down with EPM recently... my mare is dragging a hind hoof slightly, but that is the only obvious symptom at the moment.. so I'm going to take this video with me and do these tests on her. Thanks a bunch!

Unfortunately my 18 yr old Fjord X QH,Dolly,is showing severe symptoms in just two days.Vet came out today and did some tests and took blood samples.Dolly is being Free Leased off property, however I will go out and see her tomorrow and perform tests you have generously shared.Already know the answer as I saw her briefly today and massaged her to comfort her, and me ! Little to none twitch responses were observed in retrospect. Almost falls over when turning on hind and walks " drunk ", and wobbles when just standing / feeding.So sad. Hope there is something to remedy situation.I'm guessing massage or manipulation or IMS or something like that.Anyway thanks for sharing.

Noticed my horse has wobbly hind end. He's 32. Vet is coming Friday to check him out.
