Equinox Assembly Done in 5 Minutes. A Step by Step Guide.

We did the unboxing • Minelab Equinox Unboxi... and now we are doing the easy assembly of the Minelab Equinox metal detector. This assembly applies to both the Equinox 800 or 600. In the video I am assembling a 600 but the only difference will be in the packaging. The same parts will be used for both machines so this video shows the same procedure for both models.

Great advice on the coil ear stiffner. I have the original Equinox, its about 2.5 years old and the coil ear broke swinging in the woods. I fixed it with a coil tab stiffner/repair kit. It looks like yours except it uses zip ties if you snapped the ear off the coil. Works great, I've been swinging happily with the repair kit on for 2 years. Speaking of coils, clean between your coil and coil skid plate once a month, it will run alot quieter in mineraiized ground or in iron when clean. Happy thanksgiving man !!!
