It sounded good and all, but I'm looking at my music now, and the 6 8th notes or the 2 quarter and 3 8th notes are played wrong. They aren't triplets. It wasn't that helpful to be frank, but I like the tune! Sounds cool! Can't wait to see what my band comes out with!

Doglover9754 is right. The eighth note should remain constant. This is an example of metric modulation. If you listen to the publisher's recording of it, the rhythms are done correctly.
