We have 2 of these. Used them at weekend for a wedding of 30 COVID restrictions! We stood them up and used the milky lens. These were really bright it lit a dark floor up and threw light onto the people and the next wall. If you have a client who has a colour theme these will be great, or leave on the numerous modes. Tried them at home in garage with the clear lens and it gave sore eyes but clear lens would work great if set back from people. Smaller venues use the frosted lens larger clear. I’d say these are an absolute bargain. They are bright, look clean and have eye Candy plus provide a great dance area wash light. Ok the placement of the ports isn’t great but a few right angle cables solves that issue and a remote control would be nice but not essential. With smoke now being pretty much gone the need to do something different is quite evident and this provides that in spades.

£75 per unit seems a steal to me! I'm not sure how SMDs compare to normal LEDs for output, but on their page it says that the unit uses 50W. That probably equates to 48W of light output, or 3W per segment. Quite powerful :-)

Probably more like 44watts of light output these diodes usually 0.2 watts I believe. The brightness will not be the same as normal diodes as normal diodes are 30 degree beam angle these are 120. So these are flood battens basically with pixel mapping and lots of patterns. Normal diodes will be a lot brighter if used as a wall wash however used stood up expect lots of sore eyes and everyone avoiding the dance floor. These are bright but shouldn't mean sore eyes it's eye candy and a dancefloor wash in one.

Looks pretty good apart from the fact they put the power and dmx on the side of the unit which makes it look untidy

Does anybody know why the inbuilt mics are absolutely atrocious at picking up any sound in sound active mode? I position mine right next to a pair of RCF Art 15's, and they hardly react!
