Jesus, the Makro sounds like 1980's dial up modem on acid. Couldn't live with that in my ear... Nox has nicest tones to my ears. But for the price, Makro comes out well in this test. Wonder if Makro tones can be customised to sound more like the Nox?

Ugh the makro has the same crackling iron noises as the AT Max.. i like the low iron tone of the Equinox. At least its clear. Sounds just like the 3030 in combined mode.

Interesting results. Deus certainly improved on reactivity 1 and higher audio which makes perfect sense on parkland, and I won't be swapping mine any time soon. But price is important, and if I was buying right now I would have to consider the Kruzer because it performs very well and it's a bargain at the price. I liked what you did with the Kruzer tones, same thing can apply to the Deus of course. Still not over impressed with the Nox considering all the hype. Thanks for the demo Sid. ATB MMMD.

just a real test.... i love my deus and i thought it would spank the others easy.... they all did well and are 3 top machines, the depth of 7 inchs on a cut quarter is amazing

I notice most of your latest videos look like you are using the Nox as your preferred go to first machine rather than the Deus. Do you get paid by companys to promote it or do you honestly prefer using the Equinox over the Deus?

Great test Sid. Very close call but for me at the moment, I think the Kruzer just nudges it this time. It has the smallest coil and picked up the target better past that evil coke rock. But my book is still open on the Nox and I will look forward to see how it goes. 👍

Good test Sid getting thin silvers down deep . Some reviews i have watched putting items max 6 inch to me not pushing the machines enough . They all did canny . Our Nox set in pasture 2 .Tracking , multi ,50tone , dis lifted 2 segments , Put high tone pitch full wack ,Recovery2 , Iron bias 0 . We havnt tried these as only been out once . I use the impact which the Kruzer seems to sound the same . My son says the nox hasn't proved better than his Deus with the 13 on which he loves using . Like you say early days . Keep the test coming interesting to watch and helps us all the settings with these machines . Great job Sid proper test all 3 right on the edge at good depth .

Trying deus in pitch especially where there is iron and coke, separates much better and gives a more accurate tonal reading/range for target I.d

Gary Green You can use the Kruzer in salt water and it goes very deep with the stock coil on.

I think that since all the manufacturers have tested and studied the machines of the competition, deus has been in the market since 2009. I believe that if I wanted to compete I needed to create something supposedly better. Equinox should be better if it is not a failure.

Great video again sid and co...for me the deus is my choice , as you say not to much between the different detectors. I have been the minelab route but now I am over sixty it really is a weight issue.....as I can comfortably swing the deus for many hours where as most other machines swinging becomes a chore after a hour or so......

literally hard to say.... they all kick ass.... i was really shocked how well the kruzer is performing its way up there.... the deus is my proven machine that i know will do me well in the field and the equinox has a better audio so will get you digging more of the harder targets.... if i had to pick one right here and now i may go with a nox just because its sweet tones and multi iq... but id be happy with any of them

Thanks very much for the video Sid, I was torn between the kruzer and the equinox and it was because of the multi id alone I went with the equinox as I am likely to mainly do beach work. The tones are nicer in the equinox and targets pop more. The kruzer seems better performance wise slightly from what I can see

I think the Kruzer is the only one that is mostly susceptible to the hotrocks and coke. So you're going to more likely to hear the coke as a good tone like my Nokta Impact does. All good machines. The Deus has had years of knowledge, updates, coils and is a great machine but for 2 machines straight out of the box. The Nox and Kruser are looking to be a serious threat the the crown. Price, Fully waterproof and can be updated.

Oh Sid, you have patience , that test would I've driven me nuts. GREAT comparison . Honest to your word. However I've the impact and I love minelabs, and XP's. Is it worth giving up the Nokta impact for the kreuzer. There was not a SID out there to do a comprehensive review on the impact. I will email Nokta .Being a international trucker , when home detecting time a preminum,your analysis of Nokta would of been so helpful. Thanks Sid

I did not see that Deus saw much deeper than equinox. The Kruser gave a black signal as well as deus, and Equinox gave an excellent digging signal. And if you like to dig on the beach or in the coastal strip, I think it's just an excellent device. I now think what device to buy Deus or Equinox or E-trac

The test was unfair for the Equinox, as the ground had more than 20% moisture content and contained soil!, also cars could be seen 500 yards away, so this sensitive machine can only be ground balanced in the absence of ferrous objects. The hammered penny should have been buried at 6 meters as we all know the Equinox is not like any other machine on the market! lol

Good video Sid. Have to be impressed with Kruizers on the Eddy , But Hate those harse tones. So much for Nox seeing through coke in ground.Actually , watching it again.The Nox does hit the eddy .Although , a bit hit and miss.

to be fare to all machines a eddie penny 10 inchs deep with coke in the hole is the nightmare test.... the kruzer did sound real rough on it but thats due to depth and really iffy signal.... it did try to give a signal on the hammy and coke at depth though so impressive.... i recon the nox and kruzer did well on it.... deus struggled more but in a different field on a different day results could of been different..... and if the hammy was at say 8 inchs i recon they would of all got it.... interesting results mind

Yes an Eddy at 10 is very hard to hit. Infact ive never dug one at that depth in 20yrs.. But a Big lizzie .. yes.

Great video again, but i was wondering you did reactivity on 1 and did not change the silencer. Reactivity on 1 than silencer goes up to 3. I think when reactivity is on 1 and change silencer to 0 or -1 you will get the target. What is your opinion? Keep up the good work , like watching your vids.👍 Grts from Holland

I have been using a Deus since the first shipment was sent to the US... I just ordered a Makro Kruzer and.......... am very glad I am not standing in the Equinox backorder line with everybody else....It is nothing special from what I have seen so far.....

@@englandshistory it's not the user friendly part that impresses me it's the ability to find silver units on the most infested of iron sites. It finds where most detectors won't even hear it. To the expert user the abilities are very impressive I've had one for about 7 years and compared to the equinox 800 only depth on pasture is its advantage but even then the deus often surprises! I've thought about upgrading but might have to wait a while for the next leap in technology to seriously better the deus.

Probably Neil then. Some American videos showed the deepest program to be gold 2. Mind you, the Kruzer was super impressive on it's Deep program and it's the cheapest of the three. Cheers for taking the time to do the video.

More than 15 inches... is a real test. Not this. For me metal detector is not 12 inches a problem. I have russian AKA Signum, this is a real depth metal detector!
