Delivered a nice even cut, has the super tight turning ability kzbin.infoUgkx1VWTrayKBdCKAjzAcZ_Eg4dhHTae3LkN also recommend I was looking for, and is just a blast to drive. It takes a little bit to get used to driving one after driving a normal tractor style, but once you've got it, you've got it. If you're cutting lines, you have to be careful spinning the mower around or the back tire will dig a bare spot. Just take it nice and slow during the turn and then it's back to full throttle across the yard!

Stihl zero turns are just a rebranded Ferris. Stihl partnered up with Briggs and Stratton to build their mowers.

What do you think about electric mowers, can they do a good job like gas/diesel engines.... I see electric mowers you can't mow once a week, you need to mow more.... any ideas???!!!! Thanks...

I’m not against electric mowers, but for the price point and power, I think they are a tad behind. I know they have some amazing electric machines out there. But what are you going to do when you are double/trouble cutting in the spring and your battery runs out 3/4 into the day? And I know you would have multiple batteries, but still.

@@EDLawnCare That's just what I was thinking of, what can you do, it takes 7 to 16 hours to fully charge the battery 🔋, this is NOT exceptible, best have a gas/diesel unit ready to go..... liked this video, you showed me what was there, the prices are off this planet to own a machine, and after the batteries life span is over, what is next? New one! Or everything thing on earth will be dead, no oxygen!!! Thanks again..

Glad you liked the video! And you are preaching to the choir. Those machines aren’t worth the price. I’m not paying 30K for a machine that can only go 5000 hour battery life. I can’t imagine how expensive just the battery alone would be.

Out of curiosity what was the pricing on the Stihl mowers? Stander specifically but interested in all

They wouldn’t give me a price on the stander because it’s still prototype. They have a 42” going for roughly $3900, and I think their 60” was around $13k. The 72 was $18k.

@@EDLawnCare yeah i probably would redo my other John deere and make it look just like a stihl zero turn mower so it would have those colors so id have to get white orange and black paint then peel off the john deere sticker then see were the stihl name would look best at on the hood But then I'd have to keep that mower put up cause someone might steal it cause they'll believe its a stihl product

10 years ago I had to beg Scag to put a bigger motor on their machine. Now everyone is making zero turns and large motors are standard.

Good question, I thought I saw a small booth for Snapper but it wasn’t anything big. And I’m not even sure I saw anything with Briggs & Stratton, just the engines! You are probably right when you say dead lol!

Won't buy Exmark ever again had a mower burn thru 2 new engines one summer and they didn't even want to talk about it, disgusting customer service Wipe your ass with their waranty!

@@EDLawnCare stopped taking my calls and wouldn't let dealer adress it, just shut me down refused to do anything at all, had the mower less than 3 months. Bad design it was the walker knockoff, motor in a box cooling fins on motor clog and you can't tell because of all the heat shields around the fins, impossible to even tell without pulling parts off motor or using a scope, second motor lasted just over a month died in August rebuild lasted about 9 months then it sat in my back yard for 10 years before I stuffed it in a dumpster, should have done it day one! I would have been better off!! They quit making the navigator rather than adress their flaws.

Sarasota bradington fl. area With a scag tiger cat , that piece junk tiger cat w yammaha motor , put me out of business on the mowing end of things , the local scag dealers near me cant even fix a lawn mower , they cant hire help , cause us small time landscape companies pay more per hour than there dealerships for mechanics and all help ..so they get whats left for employees ..lol
