Nothing worse than a bad nights sleep in the field. Took years to figure it out but a CCF pad on top of an inflatable pad is so comfortable.

looks like a really comfortable sleep system. it’s hard to get good sleep while camping sometimes. but with this combo, good sleep is almost guaranteed.

Absolutely. Shouldn't have a probably with that combo even in very cold temps. Have a preferred sleeping pad yourself, SoCal? -Rusty

I’ve actually never used a sleeping pad. I’ve only slept on top of a sleeping bag. no real need to be in the sleeping bag when u camp in the high desert.

I have a exped mega mat 10. Looking for a CCF mat to put under for protection and some extra cushion I like the exped flex mat bec you can get it wider and thicker but I’m very interested in switchback. Thought on exped flex mat or switchback for my purposes? IM 73” tall and 260lb
