Does this make you rethink which paracord you are carrying or nah?

Titan Survival Para cord . Has fishing line, metal wire for snares and jut string for fire making along with the standard cords

Well, didn't necessarily want to buy new paracord but that mixed camo is looking tempting. Dark enough to blend into the forest, light enough that it isn't stark against sandy backgrounds. P.S. the "hidden logo" isn't that hidden. Another solid vid Equip 2 Endure!

I like earth tone colors (and all of my rolls are digi-camo or coyote right now), but the more I am out in the woods, the more I like bright orange anything, including paracord, do i can find stuff when I inevitably drop it.

BINGO, Trevor! High-vis is great for things that are easy to lose sight of, or just lose period. That's why I like the hybrid hank where the length blends in, but the anchor points pop out. -Rusty

Can you recommend a specific brand that would hold up/be the toughest for outdoors?
@Equip2Endure2 күн бұрын
All “mil-spec” paracord uses the same materials. One mil-spec variety shouldn’t have any significant performance difference than the other. However, we do like ToughGrid 750 for extra strength.

No mention of 550 FireCord?
@Equip2Endure8 ай бұрын
Hey, Dbear! Totally valid comment. There is FireCord, SOL tinder cord (mentioned in this video), Survivor Cord, and others out there with tinder inside the cord. Here's my thinking on it... I like having a bit of tinder cord as a lanyard - especially attached to fire making tools. I don't like it on my longer hank because I wouldn't want to gut it to get at tinder. I carry separate fishing line, tinder, and thin bank line which is easier to get at (being separate) and doesn't compromise my 50ft hank should I ever need to gut it. Your mileage may vary. Appreciate the watch and comment, amigo! -Rusty

@@Dbear723 Yea, it was a novel idea at the time and some people may still like it. It shines in things like lanyards, shoelaces, bracelets, etc. but not necessarily for a sturdy and longer length utility cord meant to stay intact.

in all the vids I watch on KZbin, nobody talks about 750 paracord. it's surprising. I prefer it as well to 550 cord. 750 is Only a fraction wider & a fraction heavier than 550 But is stronger than 550. I'll take 750 every time.

Agreed, SoCal! So what color do you want in your kit and why? -Rusty
@SoCalPatriot818 ай бұрын
@Equip2Endure I've always been a fan of subdued colors, OD Green, FDE, etc. those colors blend in well to most surroundings without being an actual camo color.

Agreeing with you. Desert camo is a subdued and calm color scheme. It’s the opposite of loud and obnoxious. It’s the beautiful girl at the party that doesn’t need to make a scene. Works really well (as intended) in the desert - as you see in the video.
