Just in time! Thank you. For a portable type generator, with a transfer switch - do I need to do anything with the bonded neutral in the generator? Some say yes, most say no because the T switch.

Yes it should be unbounded at the generator because it's bonded already in the service equipment, you don't bond twice

@thomasmarable6818 the other thing that got me thinking, the generator has rubber feet and plastic wheels, why does bonding internal to the power head and frame matter if it's not a ground

With the transfer switch being the first means of disconnect , then the neutral and ground bar should not be bonded in the secondary service panel, correct?

It's not the first means of disconnect.

The transfer switch in this video is after the utility service disconnect. A N/G bond is not permitted after the utility service disconnect, see 250.24(B), 250.32(B), and 250.142(B).

Not always, if the voltage of the cables are all the same voltage rating. I have a direct burial cable all in one. Check local codes and manufacturer installation requirements.

It's more complicated than that. It's a function of the power source of the limited energy cables and if they are Class 1, Class 2, or Class 3. Please do not make a post without a Code reference in the future.
