Whenever I am writing a stock pitch, there are times we fell short of the actual data that is needed to complete our analysis on that stock idea. In that case, can you please suggest a few methods to complete our analysis. Also, how can we convey these things to the interviewer.

10:29 but arent all the big companies that are covered by analysts and are followed closely has everything already priced in so isnt it less likely to have a correction? on the other hand, less covered companies or industries have potential market inefficiencies that could drive our price targets...

Hey great video man! I am a current senior and interviewing for a sell side ER associate position. Is it ok if i just focus on comparables and multiples instead of DCF analysis for the valuation portion? I have never actually run a dcf model before

Hey really sorry I didn't reply to your comment earlier. I hope your interview went well. Either way, for future reference, it really depends on timing. In general, you should know how to build a DCF model because even if you wont get tested in the interview, it is essential to actually succeeding in ER. On the other hand, its tough to learn the week before an interview so drawing focus away from that and focusing on the comparables and multuplies analysis will hopefully hide the fact that you dont have experience in building DCFs. So yes, focus on the other analyses and dont make reference to any DCF valuation.
