Watching that again really made me realise something about hormones. When I was only 9 years old my family decided to put me on hormone therapy without my consent bc they tought there was something wrong with me, the reason for is bc every girl in my family reached puberty at a very young age, so they drove me to this clinic and forced to get progesterone on my bloodstream. 1 year later I was the only kid in my grade with a forehead full of pimples,a very large amount of sweat besides other problems, when I finally hit puberty I was 11 and it was a completely nightmare, all of that bc they didn't consider that I had the "proper body" of a " young woman" looking back now I see how misogynistic and mean my family was to me, regard my body. I'm seriously considering getting into justice and maybe suing the hospital that allowed that to happen

Big Mouth is one of my favorite shows, it describes puberty and hardships pretty well. Maybe this is a “controversial” opinion but I think it would be a great show for kids going through puberty. Since it apparently is ADHD awareness month, just one small correction: ADD and ADHD are not really distinguished anymore. There is just ADHD with inattentive, hyperactive and mixed representation (of which the first of them is basically what ADD used to be). I mean, ADHD is technically still a very strange name, considering the hyperactive representation is pretty rare and considering that it is more of a deficit of regulating attention and executive functioning then a deficit of attention. Keep up your awesome videos! :)

Like I think all highschoolers- and anyone going through puberty should watch this show, even though it is, terribly awfully awkward.

Oh, and a man getting a vasectomy. Even a pap smear being done by what is basically a space ship. Big mouth is more about the kids literally right on the edge of puberty. This is the months where the hormones hit and hard. It’s their point of view of how they deal with it and what they do. These kids are likely 7th to 8th grade just starting puberty. I remember when this happened my body was not prepared at all and I was just in bed for a day fortunately it was a weekend. I was fine you know the first time sucks. I’m a dude so you know but my body went into a pain cycle for a day for some reason. I was back the day after.
