Oh yeah...now I remember. I do remember having the surgery later on. I also I've seen the blooper where she leaves a scene without her crutch, then someone off camera shouts, "It's a miracle!" hehehe. :)

She had congenital hip dysplasia. That was revealed in the Season 11 episode "Just As I Am." But eventually, she had surgery and stopped needing the crutch.

I was really young when I watched ER, I think I was 7 years old. These are the only two characters I remember. I remember watching it with my mom. I stopped watching after I thought the original characters left, but I'm not 100% sure. That's when I started to watch Grey's Anatomy haha. But anyway, I remember them so well. I always thought she was the same actress from Kindergarten Cop though. It was probably their same hair color and cut.

@@livyrose672 They had her character have hip replacement surgery so the actress wouldn't have to pretend to need a crutch which was doing damage to her spine always walking on the crutch.

As Al Fe said it was Congenital Hip Displacement - it's revealed in Season 11 (I believe). She subsequently gets operated on and doesn't need a crutch anymore :D
