Era of Reclamation Ep.3: Fashion as resistance and power

From clothing and accessories to hair styles, what are people of African descent 'reclaiming' when it comes to fashion?
Join Christine Checinska, Curator of African and African Diaspora Fashion at the V&A; Eunice Olumide MBE, model, actress, broadcaster and curator; Araminta de Clermont, British photographer; and Bonnie Greer, former Deputy Chair of the British Museum and Co-creator and Curator of the Era of Reclamation series, as they discuss the concept of fashion as a means of resistance and power.
As part of the continuing event series they will explore how fashion has been used as a way of expressing liberation and will look at the impact the Black Lives Matter movement has had, and continues to have, on the style choices of young black people today.
