This was great! There are a couple of fingering combos on the NAF that I really struggle with, and often "cheat" by tonguing them instead of playing them legato to cover up my sloppiness. You've given me motivation and some ideas to fix the root cause! Friendly YT suggestion: the audio of your flute playing was a lot "hotter" than your voice - while listening I had to crank the volume up when you were talking, and down when you were playing. You could fix in your NLE, mic yourself up for the VO segments, or add a VO in post if your face is off-camera. Anyway, good stuff, keep 'em coming!!

+Kurt Papke I really appreciate the ideas, Kurt. I often find that breaking down note changes into a series of atomic actions helps shine some light on the problem, and that it's usually possible to fix the issue easily once you know where and when it's occurring. Let me know if there's other stuff I can do to help... I'd love to be connected with the Native American Flute community if you think this would help them.

The best way to connect with the NAF community, such as it is, would be to look up Clint Goss, he is the guru. There is a YT channel under his name - having a look at just the titles of his videos will give you an idea of what issues have been covered. Hope this helps!
