Steven G I don’t know man, seems like u struggle with some problems not many other players have problems with. You tubers and I guess more experienced dayz players just don’t seem to walk into already looted places and walk inland and get rained on. Idk what ur doing but ur doing something wrong. Also if u die to the rain so often, why don’t u just wear a jacket that’s water proof so u don’t get as wet? And idk about u but I usually just leave most food I find behind because I usually have enough and it just takes up inventory space.
