Erasure needs more respect! They are just as important and influential as Depeche Mode, New Order, and Pet Shop Boys. Vince Clarke, especially, needs to be recognized with a special lifetime achievement award for all that he's done for synthpop music and being the founder of Depeche Mode, Yazoo, and Erasure.

Erasure are still together and selling out concepts 34 years later! A great British group to be proud of. This song and Erasure as a band always reminds me of my school time friend, Scott Wilks. He was in a wheelchair and we saw their concert in Milton Keynes and it allowed me to be closer than the performance than I should have been allowed to be. For this I will forever be thankful of my friend who I lost in 2016. Thinking of you Scott.

I've no idea if it was the same performance, but I saw Erasure at the Milton Keynes bowl in 1989 or 1990. I was only 17 years old or so, and went with my first girlfriend. The opener was Adamski singing Killer, and it was a hell of a concert. RIP to your friend, but you are still here to tell such tales and they will be alive as long as you remember them ;-)
