I think, that now the R1 cars have so much power, they should look to increase the power output of the R2 cars. Nice vid, really good quality.

Probably not an outstanding idea. The Rally1 WRC cars run special heavier more expensive tyres. Increase the power of the R2 cars and they would likely need better/ heavier tyres and have more strain on the drivetrain, suspension etc. The R5/ Rally2 are fairly right for what they are at the moment, and affordable for many people to run at this ERC level. A more expensive, more powerful, possibly hybrid Rally 2 would be new projects.

The power output of r2 car is okay at wat it is . More power output means more developements and hence the more expensive tjey would become .
