Verry helpful guide, I just played MapleStory again after 10 years. I summarize as below: Step 1: Choose a favorite class. Step 2 - Option 1: Play the favorite class to 200+ Step 2 - Option 2: Work on Links to lv1-2, Legion to lv 100 (help decide to choose a main). Step 3: Training main to 220-235. Step 4: 4k legion. Step 5: Training main to 250-255. Step 6 - Option 1: Boss mule if nodes lv 20+ on main. Step 6 - Option 2: 6-8k legion (recommend on event). Step 6 - Option 3: Training main to 255+

how about a guide for brand new Maplers who only have one character as their main and no other? every video guide on MS are for individuals who have progressed a few characters, and have knowledge on the games mechanic. I have a lvl 205 I/L mage and still have no idea on what to do or how to get more arcane force. the monsters I have to kill for my "Vanishing Journey" quest can 3 shot me and I"m at a loss on how to progress.

250 makes arcane river dailies so much easier, only 1 hunt and 1 pq in each zone.

btw made bossing mules with 100 nodes by just using 5-6 trios for the same skill (or 2), reached lvl 4x boost node and it was enough for cra.

Guess my next step is to grind to 250 and get Arcane gear. Got 9k legion with 10 bossing mules that give at least 1bil weekly. I don't like grinding tho lol

ive met alot of players lately who cant do ursus cuz of toaster pc. Something small i recently found out is that ppl can enter ursus solo and if they do like 150b dmge (not sure if the dmge req scales with lvl) and leave after they still get the full amount of mesos ^^ hope this helps some out :D

Since I deleted my first reboot character (Adele level 185 Hyper Burned) who had all the new reboot rewards, should I make a new account in order to get those rewards? Or are they not as important to restart my entire account for? I'm a new player with a level 90 Kanna and a level 124 Hyper Burn Bucc.

I’d recommend getting some oz rings! That should help! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 after you have a few rings you should be able to do cra? Might need to bring a Janna aswell though?!

Hey man, thanks so much for this guide - much appreciated! I started Maple once again around 8-9 months ago and my main is NL which is currently Lv 229 and I have 1.2k legion - I just have a lot of trouble getting my other characters up to 200 since I don't have any Root Abyss equips or equivalent to help with my grinding around 160 and beyond (speaking for my legion characters; my main is fine as I have solid equips there). Would you have any tips on how I can make this more manageable? Thanks again for the guides, they're awesome.

I think you shld just level up your legion by having 42 chars at level 141(so that you can use extreme growth potions on them) and you shld be at 6000 legion by the end of it. Would reccomend doing the zakum tech where you level a bunch of characters to 100 and just enter nzak to kill his arms and logging out to do the next char (if you dont kill the body you can enter again in 30 mins) this can level your chars to 141 after some time. After having a high enough legion and link skills you can definitely level to 200 using just pensalir gear and some boss accessories. Hope this helps!

you dont need cra equips to get to 200 just get as much 2x exp coupons as possible, use monster park gold and red pot, level up damage and exp link skills first, use mega burninator in monthly attendance, get sweetwater weapon from commerci voyages and cpq, do daily bosses for boss accessory set items, starforce to 10/12 and cube to 3-9% mainstat, on weapon secondary and emblem you want %attack. make sure to put into hyperstats, crit rate to 100% first, then damage.

@stefanmadrax yes, the drop rate for them was increased to a high amount making it very easy to get it on day 1 or day 2 of commerci voyages, there's also a chance of it dropping in cpq. It drops from the bosses Day 1 you can unlock up to Rosa which has one boss. Day 2 you can unlock herb town which has 3 bosses. It's a good weapon to use before obtaining permanent fafnir on both main character and mules as it has high base weapon/magic attack, and extra boss damage/ied. You should only starforce it up to 12, since its level 160 it can't be transfer hammered. Also good for solo/struggle progressing to CRA., however it is not a replacement for fafnir. If you can get carried for cra get fafnir weapon, fafnir weapon is better Or if you are a teraburning/ hyperburning, the temporary hyper burning fafnir weapon, and fake absolab are better. Since the change to boss carries minimum damage has not reached GMS, if you can trade carries with someone for cra, it's best to gear up boss mules now. Otherwise The other option for those level ranges, pensalir, should only be used if you plan to star to 16 stars during a starforce event and transfer hammer into fafnir once obtained

Yeah my first guy tapered off at 181 ish. Then I got an Ark to 200 and had a similar issue but instead of hard to kill things my ark was dying a lot lol. my bandits up to 207 though and I am coasting. Link skills and legion is bring my guys from like 100k to 200k. (300->400k on main) But I had 2k legion and full link skills (at least lvl 1 )by my bandit play though. Lvling the other characters was a truly really fun. Kain and Aran are really cool especially Aran and I wouldn’t have ever tried it if it wasn’t for the link skill. That goes for my ark too and my Adele. And one of my demon classes hahaha 😅 yeah idk link skills and legion is a huge plus to the game for me.

Great video! Questions: 1. Is there a specific level that I should start making drop and meso gear? And which one should I focus on more? 2. Is there an ideal drop rate percentage to maximize getting nodestones? The max I've had was 20-22 nodestones on 134%(gear, Epic IA 9% IDR and legion buff) in 2 hours.

I have 309 drop and i average 25-40 per totem. I would just honestly just focus on mesos gear and some drop rate. Should get 100% mesos as soon as possible and look up wealth acquisition potions.

@@flourishing958 i hope you care capping you canons. Im getting lots of nodes from them. I would just focus all nodes on your main until every skill and whatever else you need is maxed. Every 100 nodes seems to be 5 levels of 5th job skill for me. Thats if i invest all of it on upgrading that skill.

Yeah so any drop rate above 70% is good when your at an earlier point in the game. Obviously you can try to shoot for more, but i don't recommend spending like all of your money trying to cube hybrids. The biggest drop rate gain you can make is from familiars and getting a large drop fam which will get you 100% DR.
