Is DW a strong solo bosser? Or what should I main if all I care about is pure damage output and solo bossing?

No. DW was never the strongest solo bosser, it's always been middle of the pack or on the lower end of pure damage. Its value previously came from the fact it was a support DPS and provided 15% FD to the rest of the party, but now without that even that aspect's been removed it's not that great.

@@Drillbitayler Illium is probably the best solo bosser atm and will continue to be for awhile. It has some of the fastest solo clears even at lower funding.

If you're a new player you should try demon slayer as a main bc the skills look good strong burst, lots of and lazy farm

New system going to be introduced in KMS that requires you to have up to 6 260+ characters. Depending on what bosses you solo starting from VHilla all the way up to NKalos you get stats that benefit all your characters. The valuable ones are soloing black mage and HSeren as those provide boss damage and crit damage.
