@@lani7148 Yes, I believe so. It's why I don't laugh when Bucky says the line about being "invicible" when Peggy talks to Steve and then walks off at 2:34. Bucky is already a different person. Something has already happened to him. In retrospect, the actor, Sebastian Stan, did a phenomenal job. Yes, I know Peggy only has eyes for Steve, that's their love story. :) I guess the irony is that Steve and Peggy could have helped Bucky then, but did not.

Idk how Steve could go back in time to live with Peggy, when in that time period, at that very moment, Bucky, his best friend, would be being tortured and abused by HYDRA. How could he sleep peacefully knowing this? Sure he knows what happens to Bucky in the future, but it shouldn't be like "oh, I know my best friend is being harmed right now, but I'd rather make out with the girl I kissed once instead of staying with my best friends, especially after one of them probably needing a lot of therapy."

Sebastian Stan turned out to be a phenomenal actor. I'm so impressed. Good for him. I don't know if the writers were going for this or not in the first Cap movie, but wow, neither Steve or Peggy realized that Bucky was given a version of the serum? I understand that a lot was going on and Steve and Peggy were staring at each other, but still...I guess the director gave us all a clue with the green lights in the room when Steve found Bucky strapped onto the table. I guess I shouldn't go back so much to tie things together.
