es ist ein interessantes video, da dieser Hindernisparcour/Acker absolite Endstufe ist. Das ist ein tolles Beispiel, wie man es nicht machen sollte bzw wo die Grenzen des Gerätes sind. Meines erachtens willst du hier die limits erkunden oder du hast dich schlichtweg nicht mit der technik auseinander gesetzt. wenn man 20 cm langea Gras hat und von oben die Kamera nur Grün sieht oder Mal Braun sieht wird das gar nicht funktionieren. Aber trotzdem danke für das Video. Mir hat es sehr bei meiner Entscheidung geholfen

Hi, danke für dein Feedback. Ich bin mir der Herausforderung für den Vision durchaus bewusst :-) Eine Vorbereitung des Gartens fand quasi nicht statt. Allerdings muss man den Worx dann vielleicht auch im Vergleich mit dem Einhell freelexo cam sehen. Dieser bietet kein neuronales Netzwerk, benötigt auch eine Vorbereitung des Gartens, ist aber deutlich teurer. Inwieweit sich der Mehrpreis für den Vision rechnet, kann wohl erst die Zeit zeigen, wenn er durch anlernen bei Worx "smarter" wird. Ich bin auf jeden Fall nicht unzufrieden und freue mich darauf euch an meinen Fails weiter teilhaben zu lassen. :-)

Absolut ungeeignet der Garten für den Robbie. Mann muss seinen Garten auch etwas anpassen damit der Vision vernünftig läuft.

Wie lange hat denn die Trainingsphase gedauert? Ich sitze jetzt seit net halben Stunde hier und der Mäher fährt schon zum 5. oder 6. Mal die Außengrenzen rund.

Hi, tatsächlich hat er den Akku nahezu leer gefahren. Also schon einige Zeit. Selbst bei den ersten Mähdurchgängen macht er dann in der Fläche oft die Messer aus und fährt einfach. Im Display steht dann "Mähzone wird übertragen". Das dauert also seine Zeit...

Gott, wie das Teil schon wieder knallhart an jeder Wand entlangschrammelt, weil man sich wieder den Sensor dazu gespart hat. Nach hinten ist er auch blind, navigieren und in Bahnen fahren geht auch nicht... Danke für die Warnung, wird wohl ein Ecovacs.

Hi Marc, I hope it is ok that I write in english, norwegian speaking here :) I just got the M800 model, and so far I have not gotten it to cut a millimeter. My issue is the Lawn Exploration, I have probably tried running it 20+ times, but it keeps getting stuck everywhere. And off course when it does, you have to start over again from the charging station, and the the mower doesn't seem to remember a thing from the last run.. It seems that everything that is "hanging" towards the ground but doesn't go all the way to the ground, is impossible for the Landroid Vision to deal with. I mean, even in situations where the camera should pick up obstacles, it has a really hard time dealing with them. I did see the same behavior in your video here, with the metal pole, either the camera is not seeing the pole, or the software is incapable of measuring the distance from the camera to the pole in relation to the placement of the wheels. In my garden, it constantly get's stuck around the edge of the porch, the mower tries to go straight forward, even thou there is an obstacle in front of the wheel. If I didn't know that the camera actually has a wide angel lens, I would never have believed it. Also, the magnetic stripe, oh god in heaven the magnetic stripe... The way they have designed the usage, must have been drunk at work. The mover finds the stripe, it centers on it and follows it to the end. Now, if the stripe ends at for instance a wall, then the mower will just drive into the wall and try to keep going, it doesn't look like the camera feedback is even in use then the magnetic stripe is detected. I have only managed to get 1 full round of Lawn exploration, but the mower just started on a second round instead of going to the base, and off course, failed on the second round, aaaand back to start. Question: Should it be enough with 1 successful Lawn Exploration round? For those interested, I asked Worx support if it is possible to bury the magnetic stripe. The answer is no, they even mentioned that if to much grass/leaves and other stuff covers it, you might need to pick it up and place it anew.

Hi Ben, one successful exploration run is enough. You need to clear your lawn from all sites where the robot gets stuck. It also may be that the robot needs to recharge while in exploration mode, that depends on your properties size. If the exploration was successful the robot will follow the timeplan which you can schedule on the mower itself but it now also works through the app. In the first days the mower will not mow that much but do some more explorations. But everyday it runs its getting better as it gets to know your property better. So don't get desperate, i know it's a lot of work to set this thing up. It will do it's job after some time! :-)

#2 regarding the obstacle recognition this really has gotten better. First the robot hit everything in its way, but now it really stops in front of obstacles and drives much slower and smoother around obstacles. So you don't have so many crashes anymore. I cannot say if this is progress in behaviour only from the "learning" in the field or partly also through the updates.

@@MarcMacht I finally got it to perform a full round of exploration and got it cutting. The cutting itself is good, and the mower handles quite well in most situations. But, I still have major problems with the mower getting outside the lawn, especially in areas where there are openings towards a small downward hill. I have tried removing the grass at the edge, 20-30cm, but the mower still somehow manages to get outside, and roll down the hill. To me it looks like Worx could fix the majority of the stuck/outside border issues if the taught the mower to reverse out of situations. Now whenever it realizes it has gotten in a position it needs to get out of, it starts turning around, presumably for the camera to find a way out. In this process it also reverses a bit, and this again makes the mower get even further towards the point of no return. I have mentioned this in a support case I have with Worx, but I don't know how good they are at feedback. I cannot seem to find anywhere we can actually give them proper feedback. About the part you wrote about the mower "learning" the property, do you know if it creates some kind of internal map of the lawn, like a robot vacuum cleaner does? If that is the case, then I just don't understand why it has to follow the edge to get home to the charging station.

@@benjaminberglund8250 Well 🎉 congrats. Regarding the learning: i hope it learns, well i have the impression as the mowing gets better and better, but i cannot really tell. I also just got useless answers from the worx support. I guess they are just overcommitted with all this support requests. :-) I also experienced this stucking problem but with a chain link fence, the rear wheel fender got stuck inside and the mower just pulled the fence and couldn't get out. My solution was to put a wooden slat at the ground, so he stops in some distance to the fence.

@@MarcMacht it has finally mowed the entire lawn, so happy with that. Worx support still hasn't gotten back to me, so not exactly happy with the support. As for the learning, I am also wondering if it actually learns, because it kept having issues at the same spots, haven't seen much learning yet I am afraid. To me, the learning part seems to be more me learning where to fix the lawn edges as opposed to the mower learning the layouts of the lawn. Right now it usually is able to find it's way home, following the edge, but it keeps having issues with the magnet stripe. The fact that they have programmed the behavior of the mower so that it centers on the stripe and follows it, it just creates so many issues.

Bei mir erkennt er die 2 Zone nicht, fährt immer an den grünen Ringen vorbei und überquert den Weg nicht. Wie hast du das gelöst?

Hallo, ich habe die Ringe ca. 40 cm von der Platte gelegt und dann mit dem Mäher gestartet. Er fuhr so lange die Ränder ab, bis er zum ersten Ring kam, als er über den ersten Ring drüber fuhr, drehte er sich nach rechts und fuhr auf den zweiten Ring, piepte einmal und fuhr in der zweiten Zone auch einmal den Rad ab. Als er wieder zum Ring kam schwenkte er wieder über den Weg und fuhr nach Hause. Als er das abgeschlossen hat, fing er an zu mähen in allen beiden Zonen.

Hallo, eine Frage, wenn er die zone erkundet hat ist über den weg wieder zurück und zur ladestation. Muss man jetzt noch was einstellen oder fährt er jetzt immer allein in die zweite zone. Habe es heute endlich mal hinbekommen, dass er über den Weg ist und zurück. Mfg Doris

Hallo Doris, wenn du einen automatischen Zeitplan eingestellt hast, dann nimmt er die zweite Zone auch mit. Allerdings muss ausreichend Zeit eingestellt sein, so dass er auch beide Flächen schafft. Im Zweifel würde ich erstmal längere Mähsessionen einstellen und schauen ob er alles mäht. LG

Hi, probier Mal Start+Ok (Drehtaste) 3Sek gedrückt zu halten. Sonst: ausschalten, Roboter aus dem Hindernis entfernen. Wiedereinschalten und während des Einschaltvorgangs die Start Taste gedrückt halten.

@@MarcMacht okay, ich hab ihn jetzt mal zurück zur station getragen und den Erkundungsmodus neu gestartet. Bei nächsten mal probiere ich deinen Tipp. Funktioniert die App mittlerweile? Wir können zwar was in der App eingeben, es wird aber nicht an den Mäher übermittelt

@@lukealicia0911 also die Zeitplanprogrammierung unter dem Punkt "Mein Rasen" in der App funktioniert tatsächlich mittlerweile. Auch das außerplanmäßig Mähen und zur Ladestation schicken funktioniert über die ab unter "Meine Landroids". LG

Guten Tag, Habe eine für mich sehr wichtige und ausschlaggebende Frage: Ich habe zwei Rasenflächen voneinander getrennt mit zb. á 400m2. Praxis: Wenn der Works die 1. Rasenfläche gemäht hat, miss ich ihn auf die andere Rasenfläche tragen da kein Weg dorthin für den Mäher, was kein Problem ist. Aber, was wenn der Accu bei mähen der zweiten Rasenfläche leer geht, ich trage den Works zum Laden, ok, stelle ich wieder hon wenn vollgeladen ist, mäht er dort weiter oder fängt er von vorne wieder an? Senario zwei: Rasenflächen 600m2, Ladestation im Keller da kein Strom auf der Wiese. Ich trage den Mäher auf den rasen, er mäht bis er leer wird, ich lade ihn auf, wo mäht er dann weiter, dort wo aufgehört hat oder von vorne am Anfang? Vielen Dank

Alter Schwede, ist der blind, der fährt ja überall erst mal gegen... sollte eigentlich die Cam erkennen und ausweichen, da hat WORKS noch viel Arbeit an der Software... na in 1-2 Jahren wird das dann auch was.

Würde ich nicht darauf wetten. Der Vorgänger kann auch nach Jahren noch nicht mal gezielt eine Zone anfahren, dreht gerne bei 90 Innenwinkeln durch und ist dünner als ein Querdenker.
