Երգ ճանապարհի [Song of the Road] (1963)

Celebrated Soviet Armenian clown Leonid Yengibarov (Yengibaryan) on the road in Armenia in the 1963 Soviet film "Road to the Stage" (Ճանապարհ դեպի կրկես, Путь на арену). In the film, the aspiring clown Yengibarov is unable to impress the crowds, so he goes into the country to "meet the narod" and find out what makes them laugh, accompanied by the famous Soviet Armenian melody "Song of the Road" (Երգ ճանապարհի). Many of these scenes were filmed near and around Lake Sevan.
