Thank you for the amazing review! Would you recommend this one for a baby that is almost 12 months? And is this a great one for when she gets older? Im not tall and I carry my baby every day running errands. My baby is currently about 9kg and up till now we have been using the ergobaby embrace. Which worked amazingly when baby was smaller. But I notice its a bit too elastic and slips down because of babies weight. So I’m considering the omni breeze / dream. Would love your input ☺️🙏🏾✨

Sorry for the slow response! So it will generally last until 2ish but I think it really shines 4months to 18 months so I would worry at 12 months it wouldn't be the best investment for you. Although as baby is relatively petite for 12 months you might get longer.... I would recommend looking at the Manduca XT which would give you a lot more longevity whilst being super supportive and flexible

Do you feel like the shortened straps affect larger wearers much? I'm a 6'2" with a dadbod and wondering if this would fit me as well as the regular 360 (which I have tried before).
@SheenSlings2 жыл бұрын
So the padded section is shorter. Not the overall strap length, This remains that same. i am finding this still fits larger frames just as well as the previous models did, the only difference is the slightly shorter padded section means it is fitting petite forms better as well. Most parents who are not petite simply don't notice the difference at all.

This is confusing because isn’t the breeze up until 20kg? So not 2.5years?
@SheenSlingsАй бұрын
So 20kg id what this carrier has been weight tested to. This means that during testing a 20kg weight is placed in the carrier and put on a machine that bounces that carrier and weight 100,000 times very quickly and that the carrier didn't sustain any damage or wear during this process. Weight testing doesn't mean a 20kg 4 year old will physically fit in the carrier... It doesn't mean that their legs will still be adequately supported or that the carrier will reach far enough up their back that it would be safe should they decide to lean back. It's actually quite sneaky that many manufacturers purposefully don't give ages to lead you to believe their product will last for longer than it actually will. My statement of 2.5 years is as a consultant who has seen children of all ages in the carrier and wants to give people a more realistic idea of what is possible. I would say this is also being optimistic, since I made this review I have worked with many families who are already finding this carrier not supportive enough by 2 and are ready to move onto a toddler option. I hope that helps clear up your confusion.

Hi! My baby is 10 month old but she’s skinny and long. Which one shoud i buy? Breeze or cool airmesh? Since i see they have different leg padded style?? Much need help to decide. Thank you ❤
@SheenSlings Жыл бұрын
For your baby.. both will fit. The panel is the same length. The Breeze has a wider more cup shaped that might give more support but really the differences are more in how it fits the parent than the baby

I currently own the Beco Gemini and like it except it’s very hot. I’m looking to buy a new carrier. Is it worth the price difference to buy the Omni breeze over the cool air mesh? Is it a lot cooler or not everyone will feel the difference?
@SheenSlings2 жыл бұрын
To clarify do you mean price difference between the Ergobaby Breeze and the Beco Gemini Cool? or the Ergobaby Breeze verses the Ergobaby Omni 360 Cool Air Mesh? If the latter, the difference is £10 and the Breeze is a fair bit less bulky and so worth it! But if the former - Ergobaby verses Beco... this is a toughie. Because they are different carriers and fit differently. The Beco Gemini cool is a LOT less bulky and a lot cooler than the cotton Gemini. And alot less bulky than the Breeze... and thus cooler than the Breeze too. Plus the Breeze is only worth it for you if it fits you well. I do hire these out... you'd be welcome to hire to try before you buy (and I offer discounts to those who hire first too)

Hi is the mesh in the breeze model softer than the previous cool version? Dad here and I was reading online that chafing on baby's legs if they are in a onesie may be a concern with the cool version?
@SheenSlings2 жыл бұрын
Yes, the breeze is a fair bit softer and much less likely to rub on bare legs. That said 9 times out of 10 when parents contact me about lines on babies bare legs in summer it is positioning and solved by performing a pelvic tuck to check weight is on the bum rather than the inner thighs. I have a video of how to do this check on my channel and on my blog here: sheenslings.com/2021/03/03/how-to-perform-a-pelvic-tilt-to-ensure-your-baby-is-sitting-comfortably-in-their-baby-carrier/amp/
