Carla Herrera, I am touched by this video and everything you said. To be so hurt inside but have so much tenderness and intelligence inside is touching. I have the same problem but I wasnt even abused. Your message and sharing has helped me feel less alone and less bad about myself. Thank you, and thank you for being a beautiful soul inspite of the toxicity of others.

Oh Lord, our God have mercy 🥺 Your beautiful creations Carla, has experienced somthing beyond aweful, devastating, trimatic that know one should ever have to experience. Father, I pray, I pray that you would speedily send a host of you heavenly angles fly quickly to give her protection so that she will know that she at all time has the protection of the angles of heaven at any moment she calls upon the holy of Jesus and to minister to her. Father, I pray that you will give Carla the Holy Spirit to comfort her, to give her peace of mind, and to preparing her brokenness and freeing her from the torment of her heart and mind because of the things that no one should ever experience. I pray all these things on the behalf of Carla. In the previous name of Jeses amen. Carla, I am so sorry that you had to experience such abuse especially at a young age. When you should have only known trust, unconditional love, protection, encouragement, peace of mind and the joy of life. Our daughter has a friend who we have adopted as our daughter who have experienced the tragedy of abuse. We can not fully understand what she has gone through but we do see the effects that it has had on her heart and on her mind. We are in constant prayer with her. It is an wicked thing that has happened to you. But I want you to know that there is hope. God can repair your brokenness. He loves you and He is angry when these things are done particularly to children. If you like we have a friend who is a Christian counselor that I can refer you to and if you ever need someone to pray for you and with you my wife and I are available. Know that you are not alone. God hears your cry and so do we. Look to God for your strength, peace of mind and restoration of your heart. You can reach out to me any time. God bless

Hi Carla, Very sorry to hear about the things from the past that have had such a harmful affect on you. I really hope you’re doing better now. Are you an INFJ personality type? It’s not always easy to spot fellow INFJs, but for you I feel like I can see that very easily. My challenges and past is different from yours, but I still recognize what you’re going through from feeling the exact same thing and fears before. We have the ability to get so hurt and depressed by other people, but we also have the power to overcome it+. Praying that you’re blessed today and that 2020 will be a BRAND NEW year for you with new hopes and dreams. -Matt

Justin Villarta Justin Villarta it's an irrational fear, yes, but it is very real. It feels like I'm going to get killed and die. I cannot think or concentrate and I begin to get anxious. I recently got courage, out of I don't know where, to apply to jobs and actually got the job. Along the way, beginning with the idea of applying to the interviews, I was terrified. The people that may understand my fear are mainly the ones that deeply suffer these things.

I recommend the book 'Feeling Good' by David Burns because it sounds like you might be suffering from depression and anxiety. At times we create negative thoughts that turn into false realities and think that our problems over rule all others. I have an extremely rough past, but I learnt to not let it affect my emotions. I became a self emancipated minor at 17 years old and now I'm 29 about to finish nursing school. We can control the way we think and the only thing thats stopping us from happiness is ourselves. I could say a bunch more, but this would be too long. Hope it helps!

Ahhh im probably too late on this but im gonna post anyway.... As someone who can relate to abuse, it really haunts you. The feeling of helplessness is so damn overwhelming that it carries on for the rest of your life. It can make the simplest of tasks overbearing and hopeless. The need for validation is excruciating and often a hinderance for personal growth... You begin to become desperate for acknowledgment that it if its not met you begin to become bitter at the world. For me it made me violent as a child due to the abuse from my first foster parents as well as the kids who bullied me in school... It even drove me to put a knife to my chest when i was 7 and a half... But something and i dont know what kept telling that something was better out there... Im 31 now and still struggle with those demons especially after meeting so many beautiful people from my service in the military... I just got to keep pushing and bursting through walls and i truly believe that those times when i think of my dream just are gonna come true... Stay strong champ... Wish you the best

My advice to you is if you REALLY want to watch it, accept that you might get emotional. You can watch it alone and cry if you need to; it’s okay if you don’t feel put together. I put this out here to help others and maybe the can relate. If you have been through really rough situations, it might help in some way and that makes it worth it. You can also pause it or watch it in pieces. Be easy on yourself 🤍 I hope my advice gives you the push to feel more clear on your decision. So much love your way💜

Accidentally clicked this, while watching a video about footage suppressed by the WWE. Regarding your situation: Others fear what they don't understand... Just like when gainfully employed college grads throw shade upon "those other" college grads, the ones who are still stuck stocking shelves and waiting tables (despite graduating with honors). You gotta be G-d-damned perfect, to get a professional job offer after college. And you, dear, ought to spare yourself the pain of earning a college degree but having nothing-to-show in terms of occupational advancement prospects. ~Well, carry on!~

Hey Carla. I came across your video from a random comment. Some of the things you say I go through as well. The "fear of working" might be from being infantilized by parents or someone in your family(whoever raised you). When you're infantilized by your parents, they raise you all throughout your developmental stages as if you are incapable of doing things for yourself. And that can go on into middle school age, high school and early 20's too. Also extremely over protective, sheltering parents can be the cause of this feeling of fear of the outside world. Fear of everything outside of your parents. I personally was raised in fear and not socialized at all. As a kid my mother has this Unnatural fear or paranoia that something bad was going to happen to her son. Even simply playing with other kids or going to sleepovers, doing what other kids do, being allowed to play in the playground with other kids etc. you know how you see dogs sniff each other and socialize? I was not allowed to do the human version of that as a kid. Psychologically that affected me. I was held in the house for most of my life. By the time I was in middle school and high school I had already developed extreme social anxiety. Extremely sweaty hands simply being around my own classmates. Every environment where everyone is relaxed and having a good time, my eyes are darting around the room and Im extremely paranoid and scared (my mothers paranoia passed on to me), im thinking this person is looking at me weird, or i said this weird or did this weird. It got so bad i stopped going to school cause I was so uncomfortable being around other kids. They would shake my hand and feel how sweaty it was and would make a disgusting face that made me so embarrassed and made me feel like some monster. I couldn't take it anymore and just barely graduated high school. But my first semester of college it continued and I just couldn't take it any longer so I left class one day and never went back. I justified me dropping out of college with "oh I'll just be a music artist (which is actually a dream of mine) but when work came up in conversation years later i felt those same feelings. So I avoided that too, never really held a job and im still living with my parents currently. I have fear to even be on my own and do things for myself because my whole life i was made to believe that I couldn't do things for myself. When i try to do something for myself a standard task or errand Both my parents would stop me and say "no you cant do that, you dont know how to, i will do it" and my father would tell me to my face that im not good as so and so, so i cant do it. To my face talking down to me and telling me that something is not for me because i am not capable or good enough. The reason i have low self esteem and confidence issues is directly caused by parents telling me im not good enough and my mother sheltering and not socializing me so I can't even get that confidence or self esteem from the outside World. They held me in the house drilling me with discouraging, confidence destroying statements and simultaneously teaching me to fear the world. There are so many detailed examples of mental abuse, things that my father said to me growing up that I can share with you so you can come to the root of your problems. Just let me know if you'd like to talking about it and if you see some similarities in our stories. Good luck, im here if you wanna talk

How your god helped those kids not to be shot in school, or the way he didn't let people die during the hurricanes, or the way he stopped people starving to death every day in Africa? That is right he didn't stop any of that. Some made up character isn't going to magically fix mental illness or help someone out of depression. Talking to someone will. Reaching out will. Sure being spiritual may be part of your solution, wellness plan but saying this is ALL you need is the WORST advice ever. Please stop spreading harmful 'advice' like this.
