I thought The Flock being 10 years late on the grunge era was what worked about it - they were losers who couldn't let go of the grunge era. There were people like that in the late 90s

It wasn't 10 years too late, just about 4. The Grunge fad existed from 1991 to about 1993, dying in 1994 when Kobain blew his empty head off and was over by 1995. Altough Raven already had that grunge look in ECW. Wrestling in general is always outdated and behind the times. Like Van Hammer doing a glam metal gimmick in the middle of the grunge era, Man on a Men Mission doing the MC Hammer crap in 1993 when the fad was 1989-1990, Blood Runs Cold doing a MK ripoff in 1997 when the franchise was pretty much dead and the hype long gone and so on. They only get it right on fads that last an eternity, like 3 Count doing the boy band shit was right on time because the boy band craze lasted a hideous long time (from NKOTB in the late 80s to the end of the Backstreet Boys in 2001 basically)

I do not get why they did is. Eric is edited to speak faster, respond to questions even before they are done, using the theme music to drown out the voices. This was not a imwise choice

If Goldberg winning was a spur of the moment thing, it would have been interesting to see what the Starrcade main event of 98 would have been without Goldberg. I think Nash vs Hogan for the control of the nWo would have been interesting. And on the same show you could have a 3 on 3 Wolfpac vs Hollywood tag team match. You could have had Goldberg vs Giant with Bill winning which would have pushed him further.

I don't believe the Georgia Dome was planned months ago, if it was it wouldn't have been a Nitro show but a PPV which would have drawn more money. Booking it on Nitro was a mistake money wise. Hogan/Goldberg was promoted on tv on a Thursday during Thunder btw.

At the beginning Conrad and Eric talk about Erik losing his cool and scaring his dog…what show did this happen on please? Conrad is SO BAD at not calling out the episode when he talks about an incident. They shoot *several* shoes a week with Bischoff, it’s not as easy as looking at last weeks eps.

This is Episode 10, recorded in 2018. Conrad just re-used an episode and didn’t label it as such. The episode referenced where they’re yelling at each other is Episode 9, which was the Great American Bash 1998.
