Many people are bitching about clapton's Collins-produced albums. Either they are too eighties sounding, not bluesy enough or there's not enough guitar-solos on them, which is all rubbish. To me, ONE of the great strenghs about Clapton is his versatility and being able to move with the times and try out new things.

I won free tickets to a show on this tour. When he started the solo on this song, my jaw literally dropped. Thanks for the upload!

I first saw Clapton on stage in 1968 and I find it difficult to say what " his best" is. A great deal depends on MY mood. Tony Robson

I was looking at a Clapton show on Dimeadozen that is available for download. This song is on the recording from Behind the Sun. I wondered it if was the JJ Cale song covered by Skynyrd. It seem it is NOT but STILL it seems to be in the same KEYS. WOW. Looks like Eric kinda borrowed an idea for a song in the same Key.

Eric plays almost everything in a & d minor pentatonic... So not really. Also, he covers Cale's Same Old Blues live sometimes.

I need to see Clapton live before he stops. How long do you guys think he will keep performing? I looked up concert dates and his only one in America this year is in New York and I live and California

I was fortunate enough to see him play the Universal Amphitheater in the '90's...he played some stuff from Cream, Derek & the Dominoes (guess which?), this album, Slowhand...it was awesome, and in a relatively intimate venue. It was one of the highlights of my concert-going (and believe me, I've seen some).

Played this album for the first time in years and what struck me was how good EC's playing was but the production by Phil Collins was woefully tinny and the drums too loud.

Maybe they can do a remix of the whole album. That's a common practice these days. I'll root for that to happen.

Yes, they were buddies, but the combination didn't work well. Collins was unhappy that the record company had doubts about the album, but that was understandable
