My wife passed away almost a year ago. After 46 six of marriage and five more. As it says, 10 part of beauty came down from heaven. 9 parts she got and the rest to the world. Such was her beauty, as she was from inside. Hearing this song specifically and many other love songs, makes me cry and longing for her. How lucky I was!

moshe moskovits This is the best tribute you could pay to this song and your wife. I love this one by King Cole, though. These songs as we hear over and over become part of our mental system which we dig out when an occasion arises. Not necessarily death of a very dear one. I do understand your feelings.

My mom died in the world tradecenter 11/9/2001 .She was just 30 years old when she died. And I was only 6 month Old at that time. When my mom was pregnant .She took a short time break from work .And in 11 September it was the first day for her at work after my birth unfortunately it was the last day for her on earth .I don’t know her but my dad told me how much she loves you.I am 19 years old now I survived mom all these years without you .You can’t imagine how it is hard to live without a mother. But my dad gave me your tenderness you even don’t have a graveyard to visit. The only place is the garden that is close to the World Trade Center. I will never forgive the terrorist they are devil not human beings .Mom I love you ❤️❤️❤️May your soul rest in heaven.

Moshe, I lost my wife in October 2018, we were together since 1985, last fall while I was driving along the dirt road on my northern property to go fishing I put this song on and it brings an appreciative smile to my face as the pain of loss fades and the beauty of her resonates through my soul, I feel at peace as I know we had that once in a life time fairy tale that lasted for 32 years. Peace to you my friend, our journeys forward must continue to share the joy and peace that our wives brought to us with others in friendship

This so incredibly beautiful, and it may bring a tear. Clapton can do no wrong with any genre...he sings and plays with such emotion in all he does, and is never afraid to try something fresh. I'd like to be his friend. I wish him well, and have been told he's struggling a bit right now. He's left us with more than anyone else I can think of right now. Feeling a bit blue in these strange times. Music has kept me alive, sometimes joyful, sometimes not. To all, be safe.

Eric's voice only kept growing better. His playing too, using his fingers to pluck the strings more and more. He is not afraid to play simple, which is harder than it sounds. His electric solo here sounds so much like Santana it's mindblowing!

The Yardbirds.

LÁ THU I try to turn this poem into Vietnamese freely. Have a nice day.

This is a staggering interpretation of a classic song which is, in itself, timeless. Clapton's genius (as Jan Durgen says) is testament to his ability to place his signature on a piece as incredible as this without compromising its melody or subtleness. I ADORE this piece of music. Thank you so much, Andrew. XXX

Gittin. Ben hala dinliyorum. Hala aynı duygularla. Hiçbir şey değişmedi be. İlk yazımızı hatırlıyor musun? Bana benimle hayallerin olduğunu ama asla söylemeyeceğini söylemiştin. Gerçek olmuyorlarmış söylediğin zaman. Yalvarmıştım telefonda söylemen için. Bir tanesini söylemiştin. Mezuniyetle ilgili olanı. Keşke söyletmeseymişim. Herneyse güzelim. Şarkıda da dediği gibi, "Since you went away, the days grow long and soon I'll hear old winter's song but I miss you most of all, my darling when autumn leaves start to fall." Hala ilk günkü gibi. Sevgiler.

Just thought I'd mention just in case that the original Autumn leaves is a french song called "Les feuilles mortes" written by Prevert and Kosma and made famous in France by singer/actor Yves Montand in 1946. Since then, the song was covered a zillion times and is your classic first jazz study.
