Awesome cover. I haven't played this since the late 90s, I should revisit it. I was completely into that unplugged album. Your sound is very clear, very well mixed. What is your sound interface/recorder?

Thank you :-) Yes, that unplugged album is great indeed and recently I have been just enjoying playing my old accoustic and this song is just perfect for that. This guitar is about 25 years old, it has a high action and for years I have been thinking about getting better accoustic guitar. But the thing is that I am so used to it, that if I go to a shop and play some expensive guitar, it feels different and really good, but then I come home, pick up this old lady and it feels way better :-)

I forgot you asked about how I record it - I use the SHURE SM57 mic, which goes to the Lexicon Lambda - an external sound card, which is connected with the computer (USB) and I use the Cubase LE5 software, which came with the Lexicon. As for the video, I use my small Lumix TZ60 camera.

He is using a Spanish guitar- it has nylon strings and fat feet board.

You can use Yamaha C40 it's a good beginner to intermediate Spanish guitar, but he isn't using Yamaha C40. I don't know what guitar he's playing.

Thanks! I am glad to hear from you again, I thought you might like this one :-) The electric version - yea, another challenge :-). I am sure I will do it one day, but right now I am thinking about The Thrill Is Gone, to explore BB's style a bit and I am also quite enjoying those accoustic songs, so maybe another one from Eric's unplugged, or Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here...that one has been on my list for soooo long. Yea, I will see :-)

BB King, good choice. My favourite tracks on the unplugged are Walking Blues & Knowbody knows you when you're down and out. The latter may not be enough of a challenge for you though. Check out a guy called Owen Campbell 'Sunshine Road' for an interesting style on acoustic. Reminds me of a young Seasick Steve. I've managed to get tickets to see Bonamassa at the Royal Albert Hall in London in April That will be my third time seeing him in a year. The bloke is amazing live.

Thanks for the tip, I will look at Owen Campbell. As for Bonamasa, I have been keeping my eye on him since you recommended him, but he hadn't been here since then. I have seen some DVDs though and he is really brilliant. Have fun at his gig!
