The best version of My Father‘s Eyes in my opinion.
@bonnier.70634 жыл бұрын
Eric Clapton was my dad's favorite artists, his favorite that he often sang was tears in heaven. My father's eyes was my favorite when my father pass away. I had a hard time looking at his eyes as I was losing my best friend when he was suffering with cancer. I was pretty young and felt lonely and scared but I looked into dad's eyes and helped him cross over . Dad I love you and God Thank You for bringing me closer to you. Thank you Eric

No one who believes in God can ever be fatherless. He is the ultimate father to the fatherless, or even if you need a different kind of father than the one you have. God controls it all. No matter what you have, it's what God planned for you, and that is never wrong ❣❣❣

eric never knew his father. he was abandoned by both his parents. this is a very personal and childishly hopeful song. conor, his son, died and he wasn't there to stop it. eric's story is universal and so is this song of searching. eric became a man the day his son fell 53 stories. a working man and a working artist. long road down to up. a bluesman, not someone imitating the blues.

you dont have to play fast fingers in guitar playing,.because fast fingers will take you only hours of practice,.but the feeling of blues music will take you years and even decades to get thru it..blues is easy to play but it is hard to feel..its not how fast your finger is,it is how you play the note..thats why eric clapton is i think one of the best guitarist in the world.

That's what being a great musician is all about, being one myself, being able to tap into the great unknown, affect people in such a beautiful way. Eric, still wonderful. He died 2 years later. The eyes I look into are my sons. He is a Family Minister at a church in VA. He was in an accident & lost the use of his legs. We still surf together & when I look into his eyes ... I want to cry but when I look a little deeper I see his passion for life, its all in his smile & his devotion to his 3 children , his wife and God
