In March, 1967 my older sister gave me a copy of Fresh Cream for my 11th birthday. All I'd heard prior to that day was Beach Boys and Beatles, which I liked but didn't inspire me to do anything. As I listened to Fresh Cream it just drew me in so much that by the end of it I was asking my parents for guitar lessons. They agreed and in about a week I was sitting down for my first lesson. Fifty-seven years later and I still plug in and play seven days a week. Thank you, sir, and never stop, just keep at it.

As a lifelong fan the original Albert Hall farewell concert and the Blind Faith Hyde Park were my first live shows. Many years later when I pick up my own guitar people immediately say Clapton. Love the images that go back to "Sam Hall." Got ya beat, I'm 64 and Eric's music and Life has had a huge effect on my life. I was blown away by the late great David McGowan and his book Weird Senses from the Canyon. Folks from our generation will be shocked by the amount of Hit Makers who had a parent or both working in the MILITARY INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY. Jackson Browne CSNY Zappa Flying Burrito Brothers America and of course Jim Morrison. Seemed they all connected in Laural Canyon, which had a military base and movie studio. Charlie Manson and his wacko followers were regulars along with the Beach Boys and the Monkey's. So many where unknown in the music business, and then they were Stars. Sadly most of their parents committed suicide. David McGowan uncovered this in his book Weird Senses from the Canyon, and he started getting coverage on the book. Then he suddenly got a rare form of cancer and died. God Loves the Truth Teller, and David McGowan was a Truth Teller, and I believe it cost him his life. I believe that is called a White Martyr. And Eric Clapton wasn't wasn't one of those clowns. And And he too is a Truth Teller. God Bless the Truth Tellers in this world of lies. Viva Cristo Rey
