The Core rhythm is a variation of the famous "Bo Diddly beat" -- which is derived from an Afro-Cuban 3/2 clave. (Same with Not Fade Away by Buddy Holly, as well as countless other Rock and Roll classics.)

Thanks for this and all your amazing lessons. One suggestion, where, like here, you are not calling out strings for the solo, I think it would be better to zoom the main camera all the way in to see just left fretting hand. The way it’s currently set up, really too far to see either hand down to string level in any detail. I recognize you have tab, but I prefer the visual. Thanks!!
