The recording matches the peculiar tunes. The Baron and 17 West sound like precursors to TV show, movie music for years to come. All spy cop dramas had these musical elements. Original Mission impossible for sure. The playing is unbelievable and Dolphy seems to repeat some really weird pattern in every composition. This album always picks me up for sheer energy and intellect.

Would like a video on using your spin clean. I sometimes find mine leaves records sounding noises than before. 3. A review of Sergio Mendes Primal Routes - a record that doesn’t get enough attention imo.

Hey I have that Sergio Mendes. I love it and you're right it is undeservedly obscure. I'll have to move it up the ladder. And the SpinClean video. Yes lol there's a deep cut video and partly I fear a raft of comments from Top Vinyl Men about how I'm ruining my investment etc. However I definitely have views on cleaning records and the SpinClean's quirks having resuscitated many apparently G+/VG- records to a far more valuable condition. So yes.
