The litlle out of tune low E from the final part is so awesome ;-)... it gives even a stronger Hendrix vibe to the interpretation... top playing Mr.Gales... you're a genius player.

i hope he never goes mainstream. Seriously i hope he does his thing and for whatever reason he reminds me of jimmy hendrix. He's playing guitar from his soul he's not restrained by what other players do too much hes letting his heart sing i respect him alot and to have raught himselfe to play right handed guitar upside down and to continue :)

Awesome! Am I mistaken or do you play your guitar much like albert king? do you use drop minor tuning as well?
@planetmerc11 жыл бұрын
It's standard tuning (unless he tunes down a bit). Played upside down without restringing (like Albert).
@ehrinhester31186 жыл бұрын
He is naturally right handed but plays upside down and lefty

I normally don't like blues because to me it's repetitive, always the same chords, same lyric structure, etc. But this is some blues I can get into, he uses some amazing chords, awesome voicings, and his playing never gets monotonous even though it's using some standard blues progressions. The other guys whose blues I like is Led Zeppelin and John Mayer
@GeriHew10 жыл бұрын
"Hey Joe" doesn't have a standard blues chord progression. Nor do most of Eric Gales' own songs. Like Hendrix, he is really a hard rock musician with some strong blues influences rather than an actual Blues Artist.
@joelfrenchmusic7 жыл бұрын
I think he was referring to blues and blues rock tunes with repetitive chord progressions. Like Hey Joe. However, Eric makes a four chord song sound so interesting
@robertbrancato94786 жыл бұрын
No, but the solos are smack in the middle of the blues box.
@WhiteNacho6 жыл бұрын
I agree with you totally on your blues comment. I once walked out on Stevie Ray Vaughn because I got bored but Eric is somethin special.
