But he did not play “upside frown,” like Albert King, etc.He strung the guitar in the traditional manner: low strings on top and high strings on the bottom. He was, indeed, ambidextrous, as you said. Playing guitar and hand writing were two things he always did lefty.

First herd about Eric gales from the first album in 1991,and Doyle bramhall ll from 1992 and the arc angels album.Not sure where read or herd,they had maybe met around them early 90's years first,maybe on the road,festival,same city,or studio?.Could be wrong too,anyone know for sure?,anyway wish had worked together more on albums,where some videos of them playing even in the studio,live on stage etc.. Took awhile,but now Eric got Doyle on a song from his album,hope not ages before again.Maybe Doyle on one of his next albums,should have Eric guest on a song or more,and say,both doing vocals too as well.

Wonder if Eric got any film of these recordings,sessions etc ..,if the first time in studio?,would be great to document it.After Jimi Hendrix then Stevie Ray Vaughan Doyle bramhall ll and Eric gales are my favourite guitar players. Most know all doyle,s connection with SRV through his dad,and read or seen videos of Eric meeting SRV in studio and jamming with.Not sure if eric ever met again?,or how many times see SRV live?,had to have would think,SRV played Memphis sure in 90,89,88 etc..to have seen,would been teen though.Allso wonder if Eric ever saw live or met doyle ll,s dad doyle bramhall in the 90's or 00"s till passed in 2011..
