Great old truck. I spent a lot of time in the older 4070 International cabover. 1969 with a 318 Detroit engine. That's when trucking was fun . Thanks for the video.

When I was growing up my Dad had a 1974 co4070B with a 318 Detroit 10 speed. The cab got crushed in the front end when another guys brakes came off and rolled back into it. He put a 1979 newer cab on it. I was 14 years old and he would climb back in the sleeper and said here drive. Detroit are hard to shift out but I learned over time. A guy said one time to slam your hand in the door that way you stay mad with it all day so you could shift it. Great truck and a great story on this one.

O-H-I-O Porter greetings 🇺🇸 These old IH trucks were quite popular. We had a single axle that has a 238 Detroit & 10 speed. Loved that old truck! Thanks for getting the history. Some of the sound was bad, but I still enjoyed it. Thanks again! 🥰🤩✌️

Over the years I have driven mostly cabovers. My favorite was the Mack altraliner and the transtar 2 was a close second!
