I learned to drive truck on an old 359 peterbilt KT 600 cummins 5x4 transmission. yep 359 is the truck for sure it carried peterbilt's reputation a long way. this is a true classic show truck not overly done

85 Old School 359 man ya can't get any better than that what a sweet ride. Simple graphic's looks great. That's a first with the lights at the bottom of the grill...... Too bad about the "bulldozer bumper" a real take-away on an otherwise good lookin' old Pete. Interesting paint scheme, certainly not factory. Chrome 5th wheel looks good, I had a bit of difficulty keeping my painted wheel clean.

whats the point of buy a pete instead of a volvo that would make 40k more a year ? need some answers ? reason why im asking is im in the market for a new truck - and the way i see it is the volvo is making more money ! unless im missing something ? thnx everyone would love your thought on this ... thnx again!

Volvos are fucking crap man especially those volvo engines and honestly I wouldn't trust a cummins isx either got a buddy who owns a 2 volvos one has gone thru 2 cummins already it currently has idle issues still and his other volvo had the D12 which is also fucked up..I'd stick w something older that has a CAT 3406, DD 12.7, or the N14 but that's just me..

+Truckin Money it all depends on what your business goals are. If you want a 7+mpg truck that you can only run 55mph to obtain & squeeze every cent out of it then yeah a Volvo is your choice. Keep in mind yeah those aerodynamic trucks get better mpg's (in some cases) than a classic truck but when you go to trade/sell it you get killed on the value. For those of us that have these classic hoods with long wheelbase's understand we're not gonna get 7+mpg's, hell when I had my W9,18spd,3:36 rears,750 HP C15 Cat ,295"WB getting over 6 & I was happy with that😂😂 Don't be fooled by the hype of the "savings" from the aero trucks cuz I drive a 2016 KW T680 Paccar 500hp engine,eaton 13spd automatic with 3:36 gears pullin tankers & I get between 5.7-6.3 & like I said my W9 was gettin just over 6 with 250hp & looked a hell of a lot better than that T680😂😂💯💯💯😎💪🏽🚚💨💨💨 #DifferentStrokes4DifferentFolks
