What a treat to stumble across this rare video. I saw Eric earlier this year at an all acoustic show in Mission Viejo CA. Eric and the other two guitarists did a closing number together, and he played the piano!

That's the haircut he has in the Zap video, from Tones (which this song is on). That was 1986. This guy is the opposite of the tasteless wank guitar that was big then, so I give him even more credit than just for the great music.

aah men i loved it and for some reason at the end when that women is talking again i felt like i was actually back in the 80's which i never experienced because i was born in the 90's hahaha. I love the whole vibe of the old skool stuff

@IncontinentJim I think Eric is so humble, given his tremendous talent. I've never seen him cop attitude or act anything other than have a "i've still got a LOT to learn" attitude....my other favorite Allan Holdsworth does this too. The greatest are usually pretty humble.
