@@deadreckoning292 It speaks to the culture of Texas. Mr. Ryan's comment talked about how nice, down to earth, no ego, no pretense. That's Texas culture at it finest. He was merely stating a fact. You're rebuttal leads me to think you're from one of the more rude cultural points on the planet.

lol some of the questions & topics were pretty stupid but Eric is so chilled & egoless he doesn't make it seem as awkward as like Malmsteen doing a open Q&A, Eric's just a cool dude.

Eric Johnson is an artist who has stayed true to himself and his music...he sets the bar high in terms of his mastery of the guitar and always seems to reinvent himself with every new album! One of my favorite musicians to listen to the sonic textures he weaves are amazingly beautiful! A glimpse if how humble this world renowned musician is... I met him many years ago in Austin before he released Ah Via Musicom, his masterpiece and he was the nicest guy! Great video!

Thats the reason I love Eric Johnson. At 21:00 he starts talking about how to get over a slow period in your playing, and he says never get lazy. Even after years, he put out material that was new and original that no one sees coming. And he does crazy covers. Good job Eric

It's almost as if these people arn't aware one of the most influential guitarists of a generation is sitting before them totally down to talk about anything. Questions just seemed sort of rudely asked, not really thought out to well, the fact someone is noodling on a guitar in the background is rediculous, Eric Johnson is in the room, like shit you'll learn more from listening to his words than you ever will fucking around on a guitar.

I hear what you're saying but (no disrespect intended) it seems to bother you more than it did him. He isn't a deity, he's an incredible guitarist. He seemed to be genuinely baffled as to why the battery myth got so completely misinterpreted. He appeared to take all the distractions in stride as well. I was amazed how he seemed interested in nearly every question no matter how mundane and predictable. Pretty impressive.
