As my first exposure to this young pianist, I am so impressed. This is one of the best interpretations I've heard - it reminds me of Kovacevich in how it balances drive with a sparkling quality. His phrasing during the coda of the third movement is exactly how it should be play and basically never is. Excellent accompaniment by the orchestra as well. Well done all.

Thanks, this has more drive than the tender Leeds Final rendition which I still think is very special and the best Beethoven 4th concerto I've heard. I hope he will play the others in due course.
