staying behind Eric Marienthal who is a cascade of notes is hard job, the other 2 saxophonists are very great artists! It's fantastic how at this level Eric realizes the "tension" of the other musicians, and decides to have fun with them. As if to say "ok we are professionals, but playing for fun is the first thing".

This comment goes back decades when Louis Bellson had Pete Christley and Don Menza square off and had back and forth riffs and then improvise at the same time. Since then I see one sax, then the other and that is pretty much it. Now 60 years later and I see three taking solos and then improvising. And they did as good a job or better then Pete and Don.
