One of my favorite Ovations. I own 3 different Ovation models (deep 12string, shallow Celebrity 6, and the DS778TX). It has awesome sound, easy to play. I use medium strings on it.

Wonderful. Very inspiring. When I play my Ovation it can take me to places and times that I forgot existed. It truly does allow me to release my emotions.

I never got very good at playing, being left-handed in a right-handed world, but, I did love my Ovation. I knew Eric in his formative high school years and even then, we all knew he was insanely different...gifted, talented. He was even teaching lessons at that tender age. It seems so far away now, but back then, I loved him dearly.

I first saw Eric play after a hard day of skiing at Kirkwood. Went into a bar for a beer and some laughs and a loose set of musicians were playing and singing, not all together but sort of alternating except for the guitar player. I listened, drank and laughed but slowly I just listened. Told my buddies this guy is for real and just blew me away with his guitar. Would love to get him in upstate NY!
