Mine seemed to have more glide than a 4, and it also was pretty flippy for having 0 turn (which I've noticed with other DD molds too). Its flight was pretty similar to my ESP Stalker. I think its ok it's just quite a bit different than the numbers imply. I liked how glidey it was.

This for me is the Volt equivalent - that straight-stable FW with forward, reliable fade at the finish.

I’m really looking forward to getting mine. There are times when it’s just a little too windy to trust the Explorer, but a Felon doesn’t really feel like the answer. That’s where I this disc will come in I think.

You ever throw a convict? Its a baby felon and would be an in between those two as well. Such an underrated disc.

Definitely, but River Pros feel awful IMO, so this has such a better feel and release out of the hand.

I am using the convict for that spot in my bag now. I also have a seasoned felon that I really like. I may try it but I don”t really use speed 7 right now.

I have FD, explorers and Pioneer for my Fairways. Evader will probably take the place of the optox explorer as I don’t always like the super stiff grip of the X plastics.

How would you compare it to a Getaway. I love the Getaway, cause I can carry it in Bio Fuzion when I need more turn, I can carry SE's for nice straight shots with solid finish and jump to a Lucid X when I need beef but less beef then a Felon. I stopped bagging a Explorer because the Getaway is just so good.

Im a slower arm and the explorer is my go-to fairway. I have a fusion and a lucid-x, and have never lost them to the left yet (lefty)

I'm amazed you didn't try it out on a forehand! How is it for that? I currently have a stalker that kinda goes in and out for that slot in my bag but not sold on it. Hoping this is the real deal!

Haven’t thrown one yet but have felt of quite a few of them. Wish I could do it but they’re domey domey domey. In that speed I’ve gotta have something flat. If you love the getaway and also are fine with a lot of dome, this is probably a good one for you. Nice narrow rim like all 7 speed discs though. Feels a lot like if a maverick got on steroids and beefed up.

I have felons for forehands so I wouldn’t use this for those shots. It’s very similar in flight to an eagle but different in feel.

I didn't like the Explorer. I wanted to like it but I didn't. Older gold line Strikers are money. Long, flip up from a slight hyzer, but not from a more than 10 degree hyzer. Goes far BUT always, always fades. I'm amazed they're not more popular. My understable fairway is a Saint Pro but that might change soon.
