Eric, well done. Why have hawkers in Kenya been harrased when they are only trying to make a living. I'ts ridiculous. Put the Governor on the spot, he needs to be aware of whats going on to hard working Kenyans. What he needs to do is identify a place for them to sell their goods. I personally do not care for hawkers all over the streets BUT, they are only trying to feed their children, educate their children and survive in this tough world.

Some of this chaos happens because perhaps a business person just fixed a business on a spot was peaceful but for some reason he/she is inciting hatred. And then what follows is kanjo being called by one of the hawkers on the location to go and literally uproot the person of interest. So kanjo end up harassing "waliokuwemo na wasiokuwemo". In short pesa ya kanjo utalipa vile inafaa lakini haitakutetea ukipolomokewa
