@rissipenv: I'd define him as an up-and-coming star. His popularity has simply been gradually increasing. He used to be in a boyband with limited popularity but he was also known from the Disney channel and as a general children's television host. But he became a household name in Sweden when he participated in Melodifestivalen 2010 (with this song) where he came second in the people's votes. This single sold gold as did his solo debut album.

@BeliefBeyondThat: If you listen to the lyrics the song is clearly about a guy who doesn't want to be looked upon as a kid. Since he looks so young and innocent (whilst Eric is of course 20) people supposedly tease him about being a "manboy." But he says that "you can call me a manboy if you wish, but I'll show you otherwise." That's what the song is about and it fits perfectly to Eric since he does look a lot younger than he is. :)

@rissipenv: Then he entered Melodifestivalen 2011 with Popular, won, and came 3rd in Eurovision as known. ;) Popular as a single sold platinum ages back in Sweden and his second album coming out in a few weeks is also expected to do well. His second album tour will be international (unlike the first which was local only). So he's definitely on his way. :)

I think thats cause this is like the only song he can sing live without it sound like crap. Eric is cute and he can dance but really he is not very good to dance and sing at the same time. Yes its hard to do but i think if you can choose between not dance and sing good and dance and sing bad i think i would choose to not dance. So yes he can sing if he not dance, he dance good and he looks very good. I think that is a good reason to why he's not so famous.

I don't understant why you people (not all of you) are saying that Eric is gay? I mean if he would be gay he would be gay and that's all. I sugest that, instead of deciding his sexual orientation you appreciate his work. The man can sing like an angel!
