Thiel's point was that Google should invest its money in the future and that it has run out of ideas, but he fails to point out the many innovations that Google has invested in and the boundaries that are limiting factors. It's easy to stand there on the sidelines and criticize, but it's another thing to be a contributing factor. Thiel talks a big game, but I don't see any ideas. I only hear ideals.

In the 2 clips of the debate between Eric and Peter I could find, Peter loses badly. So unless the rest of the debate was Peter destroying Eric, I think you may be biased. It looks entertaining though, so I'd love to see the whole thing.

watch the interview between Eric Schmidt and Peter Thiel. You should be able to watch it online somewhere. the interview happened last week. Peter Thiel destroyed Eric Schmidt. still think eric schmidt is awesome but Peter Thiel really destroyed him.
