Dang Erica I didn't know you were so hardcore. I didn't know if I was listening to Tina or Erica at the end. But seriously the age difference is going to make it considerably hard for them to come together and agree on the room. Zaya is 6 and like little girl stuff and Krista is 13 and going into young womanhood. They both need their own individual space to thrive. Now if Zaya acted like a 13 yr old and Krista was still clinging to childhood they could work together. And just because Krista's moving on from childhood doesn't mean she's trying to grow up too fast. But if you try and hold her down and shelter her then she's going to be like a spring when she does get out and be all over the place.

What I’m getting from this is Erica wants her daughters to have the kind of relationship she has with her sisters. They’re relationships have been cultivated and it shows. While I don’t think it’s a bad idea for Kris to have her own room, Mom knows the latter of this situation. This strategy is often used with Sororities as well. This lesson has helped me to have longevity in most of my relationships with others especially my GGF’s Erica is a smart woman and knows exactly what she’s doing: I just pray that she revisits this conversation with Kris separately to reassure her that her feelings and opinions are important too!

I shared a room with my 2 sisters when my parents didn't have the space for us to have our own rooms, but when they did, we didn't have to. They kept things fair regardless tho. Things seemed a smidge unfair here Erica. It was Krista vs you and Zaya. And laughing at (with Zaya) and then scolding Krista wasn't fair either. Krista seems like a gentle spirit, don't crush her spirit 😔.

Erica really? I think this is something made up for the show. I know the house you all live in has at least 4 to 5 bedrooms and then you say something about calling a designer to come and redo the room...if you can afford to have a designer to come in then I know you can afford to give your kids there own rooms. I have two kids in the house and I certainly can't afford a designer to come in and make changes but they both have there own rooms. Please don't make your show about unrealistic situations when it doesn't have to be. You are blessed. Some people really wish they could give their kids their own room. You are in a different bracket than most. It's not about spoiling her but it's about a child growing and needing her own space.
