Lasik is a life changing experience, Erica. My 18 year old son had lasik when he was only 18 yr old.. the surgery itself took only less than 5 minutes.. and your friend is right, it took only a day to recover

An aunt & brother had lasik done by the famous specialist many years ago & they were very satisfied. I believe he was the pioneer. You just need to pick an excellent specialist. Advance Happy Birthday Erika!🎈🎉🎂🎊 Grandma was worried when the kids held your new pair of glasses. You look younger with the new one. The plain round one also looked nice.

Yes, Erica I highly recommend getting lasik. I had mine done at 52 yr old and I wish I did it earlier when my husband had his done which would have been 20 years ago. I had mine done by Dr Scott Hyver in Santa Clara, CA. He was the best and no issues. All my husband family had lasik done from him. I would recommend you do your due diligence and research the doctor. You would be so happy not having to wear glasses and to see so clearly now that you have 20/20 vision. 😊

Hi Erica since you have children you should buy an eyeglasses lanyard so you won't need to put it down just anywhere instead it will be hanging on your neck and prevent the lenses from scratches...Oh and happy birthday to you. Have a great birthday celebration with your family

Lasik is better than wearing contact lenses but sometimes depends on the recomendation of your opthalmologist but here in Canada you have to see your optometrist then to opthalmologist, but i dont in korea for me i wore contact lenses 30 years until i had cataract surgery and had implant lense ..

Laser treatment for the eyes is I guess one of your best option. Consult an Ophthalmologist so that you get their opinion. After the Lasix you have to rest and put medication hourly and not allowed to lift heavy object series of test will be given after. There is I guess a little pain but for my son he just rested and we put medication. But surely suggest you do it.

Yes, my son did it too. I accompany him during his procedure and it’s painless my son said. After a few hours, he get up and walk to our hotel room then the next day we go home in the province. He said his vision back to 20/20

Please do ask your Optha regarding the Lasik procedure. While there are pros, there are also cons. Some people who got it are somewhat regretting it.
