Zen Delay is great. Band pass is delicious. For people wanting to use it as filter it's pretty noisy when fully wet. Also you got to find the right powersupply. Mine had a 2kHz tone when using BP filter. Very audible. That was gone when using one of my Elektron power supplies.

I didn't notice that strong noise on mine. Maybe I'm just lucky or they changed the PSU / internal hardware? But anyway good to know and thanks for your great feedback!

I need to correct myself here on the filter noise. It was due to my setup. My gain stage was wrong. Solved that. There is some noise, but hey, it's an analog circuit.

Thanks! Yes, the Zen Delay is still one of my favorite delay effects and one of the very few external effect devices I've kept. It's the combination of digital and analog components, a great interface and a solid case that makes it a perfect unit for me.

Anyone get whining noise on HP filter mode. Even with no input level going in I get a noise when in HP mode with cutoff in the anti clockwise/filter mostly off position? With and without resonance and drive. Totally gutted I have to return my unit as its a great fx unit apart from that. I read others have had similar issues. Back to shop it goes. Would love to buy another but I cant live with this noise as Ill mostly use it in HP mode

Try to get the latest firmware. There will still be a bit noise but it should be way less after updating
