I’ve always enjoyed your sewing room because of the bright colours. My personal favourites are your cute mini fridge, jelly roll rugs, the adorable pink chair and yes like everyone else your crocheted blanket. At the moment mine needs the biggest declutter ever. I can’t even move in it😂

❤ I also love sewing room tours. I made your scrappy wreath several months and hang it on my sewing room door as well. I bought a Featherweight in October from a neighbor. It is a one owner machine who was 102 when she passed a few years ago. I love it!

Beautiful sewing room, wish I had one too. 😍 Speaking from experience, the Kallax shelfs are sturdier than the Billy. The Billy doesn't go out as much, but the shelves bend under too much weight. The Kallax sticks out a little more, but because the shelves are only about 12" they don't bend at all. Have had both.

Other than needing a taller cutting table, I love this layout. My husband and I are planning an outbuilding to be my sewing/work space and being efficient with the space I will have is forefront on my mind. This gives me all kinds of ideas!

I have done the Karen Brown Just Get it Done Quilts - Declutter Challenge, for the past 3 Januarys... would love to see your Spin/Take on the same! You may have ideas that she doesn't... love your quilt room! So inspiring! I think we would all love organizing and decluttering videos! Also, what do you use to keep your layer cakes rolled up? Do you just tie with ribbon? Mine are out of control and I like that idea! I think i watched this more than 5 times trying to get ideas to get my room straightened up. After christmas i am a disaster!!

Yep, I just tied them with the ribbon they came with, or another ribbon if they didn't have one. The glass cabinet is large enough to leave them flat, but I think they look cute rolled though. I've also seen people lay them flat and store in those plastic scrapbooking tubs too if you don't want to roll them up. :)

You may get a little more life out of your cutting mat by turning it so that the Juki end is where our cutting end is now. Beautiful room thanks for the tour.

The creative grid rulers (and most other brands) come with a hole in them.
